Location

Located 35 miles north of Los Angeles, Santa Clarita consists of about 46 square miles of rugged natural settings to amazing mountain ranges.  The city provides easy accessibility to Southern California's major attractions.

Santa Clarita Housing

Santa Clarita can be as casual as a small ranch home or as stylish as a new larger home.  Here you will find everything from family-oriented neighborhoods, executive estates, apartments to condos, senior complexes, and a variety of new homes and homes for resale.

Also this is a great city for a home purchase.  Just look at the facts.  According to the California Department of Finance 2003, there are over 53,000 homes and 97% percent of them are occupied.  There is also a much larger percentage of home owners to housing occupied by renters.

The real estate market has remained strong over the last decade. The median price of a single-family home in Santa Clarita for September 2005 was $594,500 (Southland Regional Association of Realtors) while the median cost of condominiums was $379,900. The average monthly rent is $943, with a 98% average rental occupancy rate (US Bureau of the Census 2000).
